FILMING SCHEDULE

For our Preliminary task, we are meant to film a close replica of the music video 'Hit me baby one more time'. The duration should approximately be 1 minute and 19 seconds.

As we are filming a close replica of the original music video, we used one of our school's class rooms as the setting. As not many people use the Clive Bourne Six Form centre classrooms, we decided that we were going to film there. The way the room is set up also benefitted us. The room had cupboards, desks, chairs and big windows to let a great amount of lightning in to give the scene a natural glow.

We were given a week to do our preliminary task so my group and I, decided to film the Preliminary task on Wednesday period 2/3 onwards as we all finish our lessons on period two or three.

Thursday and Friday we edited. On Monday we just added finishing touches before we uploaded the preliminary task to Youtube.

Before we started filming, we watched the original music video and wrote down the seconds of each shot on our story board to enable us to film the exact same shots. The more shots we film, the more authentic the replica will be. To achieve and authentic replica, we made sure to vary our shots and to film our shots accurately. It will also make the video more interesting if the filming matches the upbeat rhythm of the song.

We made our Britney sing out loud while we filmed so that the movement of her throat made the shots look more authentic. As we filmed in a classroom, we used the projector white board to play the song so that our Britney could sing along to the beat and sing the right lyrics.
